Entering Mentoring

Description: The USD-HHMI Inclusive Science Initiative and the Center for Teaching and Learning invite you to participate in the Entering Mentoring Workshop, a facilitator-guided workshop that teaches the principles and best practices of mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The curriculum has been developed and validated by the nationally recognized Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research or CIMER (https://cimerproject.org/). The workshop is open to faculty, staff, and graduate students. Participants must attend 8 of the 10 sessions to receive the Statement of Achievement in Mentoring. Please email ctl@usd.edu to register.
